That is a veteran’s baseline of operation right? Unfortunately during my tour of Iraq, we did leave someone behind. Matt Maupin was taken POW during an attack on Good Friday. For those of us who survived that attack, we will have to live with that the rest of our lives.
This particular $10,000 donation from the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association of Southern Illinois is a special one. It reminds me that even though we messed up, we can’t quit. We have to move forward and support each other when we can.
